10/04 Built MY05 Subaru WRX STI Tarmac Rally Car This car was purchased brand new in Sydney and taken straight to MRT and converted into a tarmac rally car. MRT did a lot of work on the car initially prior to the car being modified and maintained by Les Walkden Rally in Tasmania who removed the previous engine and built the current 2Lt Spec C engine which is fresh and strong. It was driven by the previous owner in Targa Tasmania, Targa West Point as well as other tarmac rally events prior to me purchasing it and using it as a track car at Winton Motor Raceway. Key features: JDM Spec C 2Lt engine built by Les Walkden Rally in Tasmania (rebuilt approximately 2, 000km ago) VF36 twin scroll turbo Spec C extractors MSR Engineering custom made dump pipe Custom made 3" exhaust system with X-Force race cat & APS muffler Motec M800 ECU E85 conversion (Was tuned on Cheetah E85 & has been running on this fuel) ID 1000cc fuel injectors Custom made external surge tank (Similar to Process West design) Process West TMIC AVO Silicone Intake APS 70mm CAI Spec C water spray tank (programed thru Motec to spray automatically), can also be operated manually from drivers or passenger seat DMS 50mm Coilovers with DMS adjustable mounts (only 3 track days old) Project MU 2 piece disc rotors Project MU brake pads (1 track day old) Diffs have all been done but I' m not sure what brand they are Full Bonds roll cage Racing harnesses (out of date) Window tint Ecliptech shift light Car retains dash, door trims, carpet & roof lining (although they have been cut for the roll cage) and the rear seat has been removed. Made 228kw @ 20 PSI on Chasers Motorworks dyno with a safe tune but could produce more especially with a bigger turbo.
